I need to buy a gift for one more person in our wedding party. She just got her first apartment this semester after living in the dorms, so I thought I would get her a Christmas ornament for the tree she finally gets to put up. But I have two questions:
1. Is it weird to get an ornament as a gift in October? 2. Anyone know of a place to get NICE ornaments? Maybe around $25, and I was thinking the ball shape with a hand-painted design rather than in the shape of some figure. Thanks! (PS - note the very detailed topic title. If we want to implement changes, every bit helps right?) -------------------- Forget regret

Is this person like crafty or something? Do you know for sure she is going to put up a tree? Is she excited about putting up a tree? Is she sentimental? These are all questions you should ask yourself. I know personally, I dont like that kind of stuff. Unless the ornament is funny or has something cute on it that I like (like ducks or something) so that it would carry sentimental value, I would think to myself "why did this person give me this?"
To your second question, most malls have seasonal Christmas stores that open in October. Google Simon malls, use the mall finder to find the malls in your area, and click on mall directory. If its an actual store, it will be on the directory. If its a stand, it wont. Hope I was of some help. Dont know if I was though |
