I just thought I'd start a new topic about this. I just got back from the hospital visiting AJ's mom who underwent a lumpectomy this morning. And my mom is also a breast cancer survivor.
My puppies are getting decked out in Komen gear tomorrow for some tailgating. |

there are huge pink ribbons on alot of the buildings out here in Denver, first time i have seen that but its a good subtle reminder denver is huge on that. 9news has "buddy check 9 day," where women are supposed to call a friend to remind them to check for cancer on the 9th of ever month. the only reasons i remember this is because my mom received a call from a very, very, very, very distant relative who called her regarding this a couple of years ago, and the fact that denver has a ginormous race for the cure every year. |
