Yeah, this is the kind of shit that makes me mad. Some people do authorize other lawmakers to cast a vote for them in a certain way if they're unable to be present for various reasons. Understandably, lawmakers can't be present for every vote. I'm torn on this for that reason.

But ultimately I feel they should make the effort to be present and vote themselves. I DON'T approve of a lawmaker voting in place of fellow party members who aren't present without their permission and sticking their ballot in a party-line mambo. What if they were going to vote a different way?

Blah, rambling.

but its more than just casting a vote for someone who authorizes it.
obviously there were people in there voting for people who didnt authorize it. example is where it shows one person beating another to it. its like the first one to the other guy's desk wins! this is ridiculous.
