A fucking GREAT response by one of the people on their messageboard
There is an interesting concept the Roman army used when a battle was lost. The remaining soldiers were decimated, ie one in 10 were killed for loosing the battle (hence deci - mated). Maybe if we decimated the police force for police brutality, then it would start policing itself very effectively and very quickly. It would work like this: if the the number of wrongful police shootings / brutality goes over a certain percentage (one can't rule them all out due to human error) then randomly 1 in 10 police officers are going to be randomly shot or otherwise victimized. A totally immoral system of justice, but I bet it would deliver results. --------------------   |
