They plant the guy there, then have him record the defensive signal caller's signals while he says the down and distance. Then they match up the packages that go in with the signals, down and distance, and what defensive scheme they ran on that play. They break it down quite a bit, it's not like it was easy for someone to steal. It's also not like they have much of a choice, the NFL owners shot down a proposal that would allow them to put equipment in a defensive player's helmet so they could call plays in like they do to the QB. I think it is a big deal. Everybody cheats, let's not be naive, but that doesn't mean it isn't a big deal when you get busted doing it and you've got 3 super bowl rings on your fingers and allegations have been flying for years. -------------------- LANCE IS PRO-CENSORSHIP!
