So i happened to acquire an older projector and I want to watch to watch tv on it but it doesnt have any coaxial inputs on the projector.

The only inputs the projector has is the component (red/yellow/white) and s-video. Is there any way to get an adapter to get coaxial to connect to this?

I'd agree 100 %, but a VCR WOULD be a lot cheaper. The only real advantage to getting a cable box would be having more channels and the onscreen guide. If those are things you can live without, go with a VCR.
