i was just curious on this... i know my parents still friggin write paper checks for crap... they can get to a website but are pretty much oblivious on anything else.

3 and 5, respectively. My mom used to know her shit (She actually learned COBOL for some reason back in the day, dunno why, she's been a project manager at EDS as long as I can remember) but hasn't bothered to keep up with much. Her Treo's potential is woefully unfulfilled.
My dad on the other hand knows his shit through and through, and then some. I may be a bit more up-to-date on the latest happenings, but he definitely typically knows more in-depth and catches up just as quickly, plus he knows a bunch more that I don't. Good question though, I'm interested in seeing the answers. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.
