My phone got shut off for about two weeks because of a lost money order, and when it finally got turned back on I requested an area code change. Sprint gave me the bullshit runaround that I'd have to re-up with them for two more years to get an area code change. Fuck that. I've been using one of those ghetto pay-as-you-go phones for the past month. Now that my contract with Sprint is finally up, it's time to switch carriers. The carrier isn't really an issue - I know Verizon, AT&T, and Cingular work just fine around here.

What I'm looking for is a basic phone with a cheap plan. I don't need a camera on my phone, I don't even know what the hell Bluetooth is, I don't need to connect to Youtube, and I don't care about ringtones. All I want is a cheap phone that works and maybe has solitaire or tetris. I guess text messaging as well, even though I'm completely against texting, since there are certain nitwit girls I know who are incapable of actually talking on their phone.

Basically looking for limited daytime minutes (500 or so), since I usually only use my phone for work purposes during the day, with unlimited nights or weekends, and maybe 150 texts a month. I don't want to pay over $75 a month. Anyone know of a phone/plan that fits this criteria?

I'll probably go with a Samsung. Used em for years and they're durable as long as you keep them away from cups of beer.

One slight problem, the phone will be paid for through my company. Since I use my phone for work as well as personal use, it will be in TVO's name. I'm still technically paying the bill, I'll just be paying my mom (minus about $10/month for business related calls). I do not want to screw with opening up a Business account, as I'm sure it costs a lot more for the same exact plan. Is it possible to get a phone under a personal account and have the business pay for it? It's not like I plan on writing it off as a business expense. The last thing I want is auditors having access to my phone records
