They suck.
Not the artists, the actual quality of the compact discs. I bought the new Throwdown album yesterday after waiting for months for its release. As usual, it didn't play in my truck and it ended up getting scratched up after about 5 minutes. I always figured my CD player was fucked, but that isn't the case. It always plays older CD's without problem Compare the quality of a new CD versus one made in the 90's. You'll find the older one much thicker, more durable, better quality, more scratch resistant, etc. Newer ones are about as shitty as CD-R's. Maybe the RIAA should focus on getting record labels to put out a well made product before whining like bitches about people "stealing" music. -------------------- |
