Since it's politics, it's here!
Anyone going from Texas Tech? It's in South Carolina this year and should be fun. Texas College Dems rented a van and we're heading up there tomorrow afternoon. Just wanted to see if anyone would be there. |

The whole point our system of government is to make things hard to pass as law. Its the ultimate minority protector on paper because at any point in the process someone can prevent something from becoming law (president, and the two congressional branches having equal power all can fight each other).
So the "illusion of choice" is kind of the point in a way (for good and bad reasons). However, the problem today is that republicans or democrats = same shit, different ass hole. -------------------- |
