Guess that also depends on the location of the mailbox whether it was even trespassing. I seem to recall the government owning a few feet perpendicular to the streets for some reason. Only way they could put a sidewalk there since they can't put them on private property or some such.
And does that mean you can go vigilante on someone that's vandalizing say a police car? a city hall? the state capital? -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?
