I know we just had a thread about Denver, but this one is different. I just got a job in Denver and I'll be moving in the next few weeks. Anyone have any insight to this city that I should know?
Where are the bad parts of town that I don't want to live in? That sort of thing. Anything is helpful. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

are you moving to actual denver proper or the denver area? i could give you pretty good details just based on where you'll be working (and probably wanting to live).
it's like any big city, lots of crappy areas mixed in with the good ones. i'd stay away from the north to northeast side, both in and outside of the city limits; the better parts/suburbs are on the south and west sides. good places: englewood, centennial, greenwood village, golden, littleton okay places: wheat ridge, lakewood, broomfield crappy places: aurora, commerce city, thornton, westminster, arvada |
