he's smart. he's leaving on a high note rather than waiting around to slowly suck ass or nurse some injury until he's a worthless baseball player who's only there because there's fans that still like him.

hes already started sucking ass, he was only here this season because the astros couldn't cut a fan favorite his stats are .249 avg, 6 hr, and 35rbi 35 RBIs and 6 HRs is bad!? There's only 9 2nd basemen in the national league with more RBIs and 8 with more HRs... For the club, Biggio is 3rd in runs scored, 4th in hits, and 5th in RBIs. He's on pace to get as many runs, hits, and RBIs as he has in the past 10 years he's played the game. Sure his average is a little under his career average, but show me a veteran astro who's average isn't. he's also a core of the team. he's a leader in the clubhouse and for all intents and purposes, the 'captain' of the team. his retirement is for sure one of the more graceful ones that I've seen. now the astros need to get rid of brad ausmus brad ausmus is widely considered one of the best signal callers and defensive catchers in the game. roger clemens said he would not pitch for houston in 2006 unless brad ausmus would be his personal catcher. I think he probably is pretty close to retiring, and the astros have had some great games from eric munson, who i suspect will be the regular catcher as soon as ausmus is done. the position players the astros need to get rid of are Adam Everett & Morgan Ensberg |
