Was reading this article on the NYT, what do you think would be an interesting application for this? I wonder if they can really make an invisible cloak one day...

Focus the energy of a laser to make it more destructive.
Camouflage with these features would be nice, but it's probably too fragile atm. Better spy satellites. Better space viewing telescopes. Maybe we'll find yet another subdivision in the quarks or whatever the smallest known particle is now. Don't think I'd want an invisible car though. Kind of beneficial for other drivers to see me. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?
