So one of my good friends just found out her Mom has cancer. This is the closest that anyone I know has had it, and I was wondering if anyone knows the best thing to say/do (because, "I'm so sorry" can only go so far.)
This is all new to me, so I was just seeing if anyone had any good advice. -------------------- ![]() |

Yeah. That's what gets me. People react weird with cases like cancer. Sure it's generally fatal but there are a lot of cancer survivors. The best thing is to be positive and do everything you can to help that person (with cancer) stay positive and healthy. actually with all of the new medicines and advancements, cancer is a fairly survivable disease. Alot of people I know (many my age, actually) have had cancer and survived. Just stay positive. Cancer is not a death sentence these days. It's a very serious, tough, thing to deal with and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but its curable at least. -------------------- Je suis toute du merde.
