http://www.monsterpig.com
it's been all over the news, pretty crazy. the hilarious part is, go to their site and read the negative comments section: http://www.monsterpig.com/negative_comments.htm QUOTE Just my opinion but Personally, I'm really sad you shot that pig. How nice it would have been for it to either live free or be used as a source of scientific discovery. But hey, I'm from California where we tend to think that way. My son is 10 and became a vegetarian on his own at age 5 (his father and I are carnivores). Our son still takes the time to remove even ants from our house so no one will squish them. Interesting how different two American boys can be! Good job being on the honor roll. Best of luck in the future. the further pussification of America... |

I think it won't really matter when he's hunting later. Hunting is largely a game of chance. Getting the biggest fish, boar, deer, etc. has nothing to do with how good a hunter you are. Some one who is the most skilled hunter doesn't have much of a better chance of bagging the biggest than a novice.
So i think in the case of the kid he'll always be proud he has the record, and will still enjoy hunting with no bothers. If he was a rookie in the nfl and scored the record for touchdowns AND THEN got injured and became mediocre, he might get depressed, but with games involving chance im not sure it would bother you that much. -------------------- |

ok... these two paragraphs are about the dumbest things i've read in a long time..... agreed. who here that is talking about hunting has actually killed anything weighing more than 300lbs? I would pay to see someone stumble across a large mule buck or old ass boar and just shoot it by chance. they get big because they are smart and know how to move undetected and avoid you. If you're in a blind you have to be like a silent statue. they see your bigass tower, they're not stupid...you so much as sniffle and you'll never see anything except maybe some dumbass unwitting young doe that isn't worth it (to me). I'd much rather walk his trails, learn his habits, where he beds and fucks, and patterns of a buck for a couple years then go head out to get him one day that you're feeling "it". sitting in a blind and getting a buck is harder than you'd think. I've never done it. |

I've never done it. you are fucking crazy if you think sitting "silently" in a blind is hard. Christ you're shooting baited deer while sitting there. How much fucking easier does it get? Christ shooting geese from a blind in the ground is even harder than that ... -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
