Dell spokesman Dwayne Cox said today that the Round Rock-based computer maker will begin selling two of its Dimension desktop computers in about 3,000 Wal-Marts beginning June 10

They must be hurtin for sales... it could be a good thing though. Probably better for wal mart than dell.

and who is number 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ,9, 10 in computer sales? #2 out of 3 major players doesn't put you in a good position.

I'm not sure, I'll try to dig that data up for you, masta! I know that HP has approximately 17.5% market share and dell has somewhere in the range of 13-14%, so there is more than 3 manufacturers. And Zetec is right, they make lots of money.
