this will accomplish nothing aside from wasting more tax dollars debating something that has already happened.  i bet the $1.3 million is gone by july but they keep "working" hard (to get their names in the paper).

oh and while we're at it, how about we re-count the election ballots again?

As many controversies of conflicts of interest and poor decision making when it comes to Iraq, you honestly mean to say that you don't think the whole thing could benefit from legislative oversight?

Although I agree and disagree with some of said controversies, that really isn't the point. Rumors have been flying around with little to no verification and even less is being done to correct them if there are problems.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Congress unveiled an independent panel on Wednesday assigned to study the U.S.-led war in Iraq and to make policy recommendations for both Capitol Hill and the White House.

This isn't a group meant to cry over spilled milk. Their purpose is to study the occupation of Iraq and make policy reccommendations to the Bush Admin.
