I'm not going to mourn his loss for his family. I don't know his family. Quite frankly, I don't care about his family. The only time I would feel a loss is if it was close to me. I know that sounds quite assholish and selfish but after all...it's Jerry Falwell. He's up there on my most hated list next to Westboro Baptist Church. You can play the Christian card and talk about how he unified Christians into one force...but the guy wasn't exactly a model Christian. Just because he has the title of Reverend or Pastor in front of his name doesn't make him infallible or almighty. He preached a lot of hate in his day right up there with other crazy fundamentalists. And before you say he wasn't a fundamentalist he certainly was in his heyday.
I mainly have a huge beef with this guy because of the production of the Clinton Chronicles. My parents watched that shit for weeks on end and wouldn't stop talking about it. Investigations determined most of the allegations in the videos to be false.
