Ok so I'm in the Houston area now, where we have way more options than Lubbock. I've heard about FiOS, and I know some people have discussed it on here, but I don't like that they won't let you run your own www server/mail server/etc. Are there any others out there people have heard of?

well I want a service I can host servers from without doing some gay roundabout hacks. the top tier service gets you five static IP's, but I just use a Dynamic DNS server and non-standard ports (which i'd use anyway) myself. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

I see http://www22.verizon.com/content/consumerf...+and+prices.htm 5Mbps/2Mbps $39.99 15Mbps/2Mbps $49.99 30Mbps/5Mbps $179.95 just doesn't go into any more detail than that, and in the FAQ says they don't allow you to run your own servers. can you point me to the site for the business or whatever FiOS? |
