Anybody know of a cozy locally-owned coffee shop in north Austin? I'm looking for a good place to gather for playing card & board games, crap like that, and want someplace with more atmosphere than Starschmucks.

I was going to UT...quit because it wasnt worth the money. Maybe for you it will be, but they were screwing my schedule up so badly it wasnt even funny. Plus, it was taking me an hour and fifteen minutes just to get TO school in the morning...ridiculous. I just got accepted to Texas State, though, and took a tour of the campus 2 weekends ago. AWESOME. I suggest you tour both campuses before you spend the money on applying to UT. You'll find that Texas State has an awesome history program and is a much prettier campus. Honestly, UT's campus is ugly and a bunch of bums hang out around it. oh and UT's annual cost for arts and sciences is $3900 and Texas States is $2800. The money you save is insane. |
