Actually. You probably won't have any legal recourse in this case because once you signed up on their site you agreed to their terms of service. And if you read that you'll see the scam they run.

I recommend before you sign up for anything to always read the terms of service and privacy policy. They are legally required to describe the kind of service they are.

Actually thats not true:
1st, if there was bad faith (this being a scam), then they never intended to fulfill a contract, thus they already are fucked by the courts... to either repay damages they've done, or fulfill the expectation of eshay.

2nd, it is an adhesion contract (presumably), which basically means it was one sided, here, this might explain better than me:
QUOTE
adhesion contract
n.(contract of adhesion) a contract (often a signed form) so imbalanced in favor of one party over the other that there is a strong implication it was not freely bargained. Example: a rich landlord dealing with a poor tenant who has no choice and must accept all terms of a lease, no matter how restrictive or burdensome, since the tenant cannot afford to move. An adhesion contract can give the little guy the opportunity to claim in court that the contract with the big shot is invalid.

So yeah, looks like the kid already looked up SOME kind of information on the owners of the site, and actually sent something certified mail already, so he presumably could find the asshats running this flea circus and serve them a pretty little law suite.
