The Red Raiders will open the 2008 season in Reno, playing the University of Nevada, in the first of a two-game home-and-home series with the Wolf Pack. Nevada will finish it out by playing in Lubbock in 2011.

they are alright, play in an easyish conference, i wouldnt worry too much about this one....it is better than div 8 teams we usually play

There are a ton of benefits to scheduling this game: 1) It's a game against a likely bowl-eligible team that you should absolutely win at least nine out of 10 times. 2) It's a pretty good destination for fans, meaning they can do other shit in Reno other than just watch the game. 3) It provides extra exposure in Nevada, which is great for recruiting. |
