ok so everyone always sees what the manufacturers say the performance is, but you rarely see people actually test it.

253 mph is pretty damn fast

If you wanna go 253 mph, why would you waste your money on that?

In 1990 John Lingenfelter designed a Corvette for Callaway that held 254 mph continuously and they drove the car to and from the track ... not trailered at all. And if I remeber, the cost of them building that vette was $300,000 in 1990 ... but that included ALL research and testing as well. Case in point, LPE builds 225mph vetts day in day out right now for about $150,000 including the price of the vette, and those vettes have pretty short gearing I understand ....

I mean that's kind of one of those "Oohhhh and ahhhh" cars but personally I'd rather take the up-and-coming 2008 Viper SRT-10 over that thing.
