have you ever had a dream that you had forgotten, but randomly remembered in the middle of the day, which made you want to give yourself a lobotomy?

i didn't remember having a dream last night and then all of the sudden at like 12:30 I remembered what I dreamt and it was severely disturbing.

so, i have been having weird dreams for the past few weeks.
i guess i am not sleeping well . . .

anyhow, last night i dreamed that i had to pass some test, like a training mission, or else i would be killed.
i got thrown out of a black car into a field. i was dressed in painter's clothes, i think, the all white coverall type.
there was something that i was supposed to do, but i could not be seen by people. then i had to get back to wherever the people in the car were going. so, i am getting ready to kill/do whatever and a group of guys and girls in a van (which looked like a mix of abercrombie models and hippies, let's call them neo-hippies) jumped out and thought i was some sort of street performer pretending to be a statue or just a statue.
they put me in the van and took me to their house and put me on display. they applauded and gave me money. i think they were putting money and change in my shirt pocket. i still cannot decide if this was admiration or mockery.
then, i cannot remember much. i killed somebody and i remember running through some grass that looked like something from wessex.

i think this is supposed to reflect my internal struggle between seriousness and comedy/absurdity. i am never really sure when i am going to stop fucking with people and be serious. perhaps, i fear that i am a series of facades which surround nothing.
