Actually the airline industry at this point is doing well. Just about everyone posted in the black this past year and a few mergers have been proposed (which could potentially kill the industry) but were promptly shot down. The airlines are starting to do things correctly and are bringing back amenities that they had originally done away with to cut down costs.
