Does anyone know how to change the DHCP Client Host Name in Windows XP Home SP2? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
I've already tried the ipconfig method of changing the class ID, but when i check my client list on my router, the name is still the same. Thanks for any help in advance -------------------- ![]() |

I tried that, changed it and all that stuff, but when i connect to my router, it still shows the old name, i've power cycled the router, modem and computer, still shows the same name on the DHCP Client Table on my router.
Gundam and Thundercats? they would totally get their asses kicked by Decepticon/Cobra. -------------------- ![]() |
