I don't know how many of you are keeping up with this but the iPhone looks pretty damn cool. I don't care if you don't like Apple or not, once you see this thing you should be impressed.

yeah i think a hangup/call button would be cool. a lot of consumer devices nowadays are operated by touch only once a person gets used to it (phones, remote controls, video game controllers, etc). it definitely has a nice big screen, does it show the dimensions/resolution of the screen anywhere?
and btw, no apple didn't introduce the mouse. |

and btw, no apple didn't introduce the mouse. To a mass consumer market, yes, yes they did. No one gave a crap what Xerox was doing (or Stanford's research division, Sun, Lisp Machines). Apple released the Lisa with a mouse and no one really noticed, it wasn't till 1984 with the Macintosh that people started using a mouse all of the time and as a main component of the machine. They may not have invented the mouse, but they did give it recognition and put it out there for people to use. I'm wrong semantically on who "introduced" the mouse to the computer world but damn right on who introduced it to mass users. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
