I've never even been able to use bit torrent with my Suddenlink. Within a few minutes of firing up any torrent program my entire home network crashes and I can't even get an IP address until i reset the modem. The only p2p program that doesn't shut down my connection like that is Limewire, and only from my Mac. And as of about 2 weeks ago I suddently stopped getting jacksquat for most of my search results...
As for NTS, they are offering FTTU, in fact a pretty little node popped up behind my house and they sent me a flyer offering to sign me up. But considering they're laying fiber all the way up the the house, the speeds they're offering barely compare to what suddenlink has right now
