Was saddam a bad guy, yes
Should he have been put to death by an american controlled court... no -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

LOLLERS My issue with the execution has nothing to do with civil liberties. One, Saddam was a criminal against humanity. Two, he was not an american citizens. The execution and trial of saddam did not simply have american backing. This trial and execution would not have happened had not been for American intervention in Iraq; which was a huge foreign policy mistake. I have said it before and I will say it again: Iraq did not have WMD. Iraq never attacked the United States, nor did they have any ties to Osama. This war was about oil and american domination in the middle east. Don't get me wrong, I will not shed any tears for Saddam. He was a ruthless and evil man.
