QUOTE Scientists say that space, time and matter originated 13.7 billion years ago If the universe expands and collapses, it seems to me that the big bang happens every now and again, which means it happens more than once. If that's the case, what they found out is the most recent big bang happened 13.7 billion years ago. There's no saying if that is the first big bang or not, and if it is not, then space time and matter didn't originate 13.7 billion years ago, but much much longer ago. -------------------- ![]() |

Thought they finally decided that the universe won't collapse back on itself, that its actually moving apart... and speeding up. With the conclusion that we will speed up until even atoms become unstable and break up. Meaning no constant universe, the opposite actually. Anyway, thats what discovery channel (im pretty sure) stated on naked science. |

With the conclusion that we will speed up until even atoms become unstable and break up. Meaning no constant universe, the opposite actually. Anyway, thats what discovery channel (im pretty sure) stated on naked science. Or maybe the universe was created when two other universes collided creating the big bang and existence as we know it. Welcome to the multi verse son. Really though, we will never know if the big bang happened with physics as we know it today. Physics breaks down at the exact moment the "big bang" occured. -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?
