I recently had this question come up and thought it'd be an interesting poll to post on here. I know most people would probably say they'd be the "good samaritan" and tell them, but the prospect of free items at the mistake of a checker who works for a multi-billion dollar retailer is something to think about too.

I don't understand the general attitude of people more than willing to rip off a company/corporation.
Why assume that they all deserve this ? Not everything is faceless and evil. -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |

I don't understand the general attitude of people more than willing to rip off a company/corporation. Why assume that they all deserve this ? Not everything is faceless and evil. i don't dislike all major corporations. for example, costco treats their employees very well. i'd shop there if i knew where one was but fuck walmart. they treat their employees like shit. high employee turnover because they don't want to give any sort of full time benefits. they've even gone as far deny letting employees with back problems to sit down on stools during breaks. does that make me a hypocrite since i shop there? i don't know. me shopping there or not shopping there doesn't really have any effect on worker treatment. if you want to blame someone, blame the workers union who walmart pretty much has in their back pocket so yeah, if it means a fine or a loss of job for an employee, then no. if it means a company loses, let them deal with it. their loss prevention department takes this in to account and it doesn't really even cut in to their bottom line. it's just a cost of doing business -------------------- only here to talk sports occationally

Passing the hurt to the usually smaller companies that walmart bullies to sell them stuff BELOW their own cost sometimes. Not sure how that'd work on missing inventory but im sure walmart finds a way to screw someone else for it. |
