Do you think the "Cold War" ever really ended? Options

With all this talk about the spy murder case in Russia and Russia and China propping up Iran with nuclear technology it begs the question.....Did the "Cold War" ever really end, or did our enemy lose a battle in the hopes of winning the war?

I find this an interestion notion that one of the key beliefs of communistic states, most notably China, is the philosophy of "The Long War" ....where they effectivley believe that it does not matter how long a war takes, as long as eventually absolute victory is the outcome....

I said it has evolved. didn't say better or worse. while things may have gotten better with russia, obviously shit has blown up with the ME.

yeah but things are most definitely better since we're not enemies with russia anymore.... look at your cocktail example here... think about it this way... cup is 1/2 full of sprite (russia), then you dump in 1/4 coke (ME terror) now the cup is 3/4 full rather than 1/2.

basically, the world is most definitely better off without USA vs USSR
