Remember all of the talk about how this was going to be the worst hurricane season ever? Well, the end of hurricane season is a week from tomorrow and I am definitely under the impression it wasn't the worst.
There was an increase in storms in the Pacific and a decrease in the Atlantic (the inverse was true in 2005). DAMN YOU GLOBAL WARMING FOR LETTING US DOWN AND NOT LETTING US USE YOU AS A CAUSE! -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

it's just paranoia
"holy shit, if you thought this year s was bad, just wait til next year" happens all the time cause people want to be informed, which means next year when hurricane season starts the news is going to have a 'special report' or 'breaking news' evertime a goddamn tropical storm forms in the middle of the atlantic. then they'll cut to it's targeted area and see if the mayor/gov. is going to call for an evacuation of the city. then they'll cut to the gas stations showing people stocking up on supplies and gas and other shit. then they'll cut to those who will be 'braving out the storm'. -------------------- |
