I think in order for a video to be "great" it can't just look cool. the song has to rule and the video has to embody the song. both of those have that. I'll catch flak from y'all, but I always thought this video was awesomely british and homely, and a more than a bit fruity. exactly what The Smiths personify: stop me if you think you've heard this one before I love the picture of Oscar Wilde at the beginning of the vid. that's just rad. |
