Knight has never won any national championships at TTU, and probably 90% of his career wins came elsewhere. if you're going to talk about his TTU graduation rates, don't mention accomplishments he garnered at IU and USMA. it's hypocritical

how is it hypocritical to mention his graduation rates along with his coaching accomplishments? he's always graduated players, everywhere he's been. this shouldn't come as news to anyone, especially someone like you who blows their load every time knight's name makes the news.

1 trophy is more than 95% of ncaa coaches will ever win, 3 is more than 99% could ever dream of. i don't see any other big-12 teams winning the championship in the last 10 or 15 years, and tech isn't exactly a basketball school. give us kansas' recruiting abilities and knight would make the sweet sixteen every year.

knight getting us to the semis two years ago and the second round three years ago is undeniably impressive, but by your logic, any coach that doesn't win the national championship with every school they work for is doing a terrible job; i guess coach k did a shitty job at west point...

I'm not saying Texas Tech is going to win a national championship in hoops any time soon (or, for that matter, ever) but Bob Knight just signed three of the top 15 high school players in Texas in John Roberson, Mike Singletary and D'Walyn Roberts. His 2006 class was heavy on junior college players (Charles Burgess, Esmir Rizvic, Rogdrick Craig, etc.) and will be the core of this squad for the next couple of years but it's clear that the 2007 group is the future.
