This kind of went under the radar on Friday and Saturday but President Bush awarded Cpl. Dunham the Medal of Honor for covering a grenade during a battle near the Syrian border. The award was given during the dedication ceremony of the National Museum of the Marine Corps on its (the Marine Corps) 231st birthday. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

well, the guy was definatley a good soldier saving his buddies.
QUOTE An occupant of one of the cars attacked Dunham and the two fought hand to hand. As they fought, Dunham yelled to fellow Marines, "No, no watch his hand." The attacker then dropped a grenade and Dunham hurled himself on top of it, using his helmet to try to blunt the force of the blast. but, i see that and i cant stop thinking 'myth busted' -------------------- |
