i'm doing a project for work on excel and i'm running in to a problem. on one of the cells, i'm listing a long number - in this case, an ebay auction # - and it's displaying it incorrectly. instead of reading out the number, it's simplifying it in to a power - for example, instead of showing 14004938294823, it shows up as 1.40049E+11. when you click on it, it will eventually show the real number, but since i'm doing this report for my mom i'm sure this will confuse the hell out of her. she isn't exactly computer savvy.

any way to change this? i haven't used excel since college
