Wait until you get out of school. Then you will see. Unless you are engineering, nursing, or teaching $13-$17 an hour is what you'll get. Thats enough to get by. Not necessarily true. I have an $18/hour part-time job that could be full time if I wasn't in school. No college degree necessary. |

No college degree necessary. what is your work experience like? im talking about your average college student who graduates with little work experience outside of Blockbuster and doesnt have a solid networking strategy. Honestly in these days its all about who you know... Getting to know some older people is a very useful strategy. I have considered going to church to meet older people that have job hookups....Is that bad? |

Thats enough to get by. there's a huge difference ($7,500 or so) between $17 and $13 per hour. $13 is nothing and $17 is probably average. i'm not going to accept anything that translates to less than $20/hr, unless it's with somebody i'd do anything ( Honestly in these days its all about who you know... Getting to know some older people is a very useful strategy. I have considered going to church to meet older people that have job hookups....Is that bad? qft. and no, that is not a bad thing to do. i had an interview with USAA yesterday and the only reason is because i knew both of the guys interviewing; my gpa is nowhere near their requirement, but they told me "not to worry about any of that" |
