I've installed a few red skins. You can easily switch skins by using the skin manager in the lower left hand corner of the website.
For the time being I've set a black and red skin as the default. I'm not hot on dark colored skins, but we'll see if people like it or not. If I could find a light colored red skin I'd use it instead. I'm still looking. I agree that Red Eclipta is probably the best. It is clean, simple, and easy to read.
