Try to get an assistantship (teaching or research). Not only will that reduce your tuition to the in-state level, most assistantships include a complete tuition waiver so you only have to pay for your books.

What if both your parents graduated from the University you're looking at going to? Don't most schools give you in-state tuition in that case? Actually if I went to UW I still have a valid Wyoming driver's license, so if I put Wyoming plates back on my truck I could claim I never even left -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
