The only issue is that your GPA may hold you back from grad school as well. I don't know what your GPA is, but if it's low you'd better score damn well on the GRE if you want to be considered for grad school. And go somewhere other than Tech if you can. TTU may have a good undergraduate ME program, but the grad program is severely lacking. That having been said, the math portion of the GRE (the part that really matters for us) is ridiculously easy.
