UT vs OU, boring this year Options

this game is not hyped at all this year.

I think everyone is bored with the Big XII this year except for Mizzou being 5-0blah blah

With Vince Young gone and Adrian Peterson not doing shit for Heisman, what is the point? New UT qb is fine and dandy, but any qb can do well in a UT style program. I mean, they do get top picks from Texas schools and other states.
I guess OU might have dominated better with a Bomar/Peterson combination. I think OU coaches and fans gave up after Bomar left and said Good Luck Next Year Boys.

Quite frankly, UT is overrated unless they can kick some ass in this game. They've stomped ass on Sam Houston State, Rice, and UNT.... Lost to Ohio State, and got a solid victory over Iowa State.

The UT defense is ranked high and something to be feared - yet check out those teams and compare their score to UT to how their offense seems to generally run this year. Not particularly impressive.

Bottom line : I'm not convinced that this UT team should be ranked so highly. The media is hanging on to last season. If they are able to dominate on Saturday, then they definately will have me convinced to eat my words. Not counting on it though !


Peterson is off to his best start ever. Keep in mind that they had a bye week, so his stats aren't going to be as high as far as totals go.

Thompson's stats are getting better and better. After a not so impressive first game, he's still got his percentage in the mid 60s.

The biggest game OU had so far was obviously Oregon, and you would have to be a fool to just look at that as a loss and not take all the facts into consideration.

OU also came out on top of Washington State. WS ain't too shabby.
