Uh, dude?  I really think the list was meant to point to a much more dangerous and disgusting trend in the Republican party, rather than to pinpoint specific, high-ranking republicans for their heinous acts; but I do appreciate your attempt to minimize what they've done.

And if it is important to you, which I don't see why it would be frankly, there are 9 Republicans (including Rep. Foley) in that list that hold any office of importance.  That's more than just "a couple of congressmen"; you do understand this, yeah?

I'm not downplaying it, I think it's horrible, but your "long" list is now a list of 9 people. there's no doubt in my mind that there's a similiar number of democrats in important offices with similiar records.
