This is all over the Dallas news.

Maybe he just worked out too hard and the pills had an adverse effect. Apparently he's at home now, which doesn't make any sense either... They usually don't send you home after you try to kill yourself.

Publicity stunt?

eh i'm not sure how much i believe his story...

QUOTE
Owens said Wednesday the confusion likely stemmed from an empty bottle of pain medication found by his publicist, who was with him at the time and called 911. He said the rest of the pills were in a drawer.

yeah cause we all dump our drugs into a drawer and keep the empty bottle. it's much easier storage rolleyes.gif

QUOTE
Owens, 32, blamed a combination of hydrocodone, a generic form of Vicodin, with all-natural supplements for making him ill.

yeah and i'm sure no other player in the NFL has taken supplements & pain medication at the same time...

also..

QUOTE
When officially released by police, about half the document was blacked out, including the phrases "attempting suicide by prescription pain medication" and "a drug overdose," as well as the details of Owens having two pills pried from his mouth and Owens saying "Yes" when asked if he intended to harm himself.
