This has got to be one of the saddest articles I have ever read.

Authorities on Sunday were trying to pinpoint the cause of death for three children an investigator says were found decomposing inside the washer and dryer of their apartment, hours after a woman was accused of killing their pregnant mother and her fetus

There is a snippet from the article, but I suggest reading the whole thing. Its very sad.

ground breaking when it went to trial but it had plenty of media attention way before that

within a day of the murders the media was talking about her post pardon depression

the incident on topic i do feel is somewhat out of the ordinary for a number or reasons.
1) it wasnt gang related
2) it wasnt a murder/suicide by a family member like is often the case when a family ends up dead
3) the violent nature of the mother's death



its the main story on cnn.com right now and on the yahoo.com homepage
(only 2 sites i checked so im sure its the main on others as well)
