i wanna get a 360, but i'm thinking about just getting the core system. I won't be playing online or anything and I won't save music and shit on it. I just wanna play the occasional game. So I'm wondering if getting a core system and a memory card would be worth it or a waste.
and i know the HD is $100 or so.... if i wanted to install a HD months from now, is it pretty easy? like plug-n-play stuff? i wanna kill zombies too

I'd agree that the whole package is the best deal. Remember, the memory pack costs about $50 and only holds about 64MB. Thus, for $50 more, you're getting infinately more storage.
