I got it 2 days ago and I've already finished Case I, however, when I get to the end of the medicine run part .... IE, bring the first aid kit I got from the grocery store back to the security room, the game ends on me and says I failed

You probably ran out of time. You have to be BACK at the security room by 11am for that mission, cause thats when the next case starts.

Your best bet is to play through, level up, and when you get owned click Save Status and Quit.

Start over then. I restarted the game like 4 times.

Your absolute first priority is to solve all of the Case files. You can unlock Infinity mode and the "true ending" without bothering with saving people if you wanted....but saving people gives tons of pp which will make you level really fast. So what you really need to do is give Case files priority, and also try hard to save as many people as you can, but sometimes you just gotta let them niggas die.

If I knew I didn't have time to save somebody fully, I'd let them join my party, then leave them somewhere to die. Get my join bonus, and on with my way !
