A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Well I would agree... in general, I think the gov't funds too much shit. But I highly doubt that was the incentive here:

"This bill would support the taking of innocent human life in the hope of finding medical benefits for others," Bush said Wednesday afternoon. "It crosses a moral boundary that our decent society needs to respect. So I vetoed it."

doesnt matter. there is enough people who would generously give to this cause. additionally, i wouldnt want my tax dollars going to a cause I did not support...not saying i do, not saying that I dont

For all those anarchist hippie/ liberal fags out there that want to say "well, i dont support my tax dollars going to military funding" ....thats a little different. National security is an essential part of US taxation....while stem cell research is not.
