Ok, so I'm buying a new computer. I initially wanted to buy one of the new intel macs, but found that I could be literally getting twice the computer for the same price as one of the new intel iMacs. Thus I've decided on Alienware. My main question is which is better performance-wise:

Stuff I picked up about six months ago:
Intel BoxD975XBXLKR mobo Pentium D 930 (w/stock fan) 4GB OCZ DDR2 WD Raptor WD1500 ATI X1800XL 256MB PCI-E x16 blah blah other stuff the thing chews up and spits out anything I've thrown at it so far and hasn't had a single problem. |
